This non-adhesive tape is made of a special material that is contained in the tape cassette as a flat tube. After it is printed, the tube opens up to easily pass over a cable, wire or connector. Once heated using a heat gun, the tube shrinks to about 1/3 its original width making it grip the cable snugly.
